The images at this Web site were created in several diverse ways.

Some were begun with a natural object, a painting, or an abstract photograph. One of the photographic images is an animated composite made from a recent painting.

Other images are purely mathematical, of which a few feature raster imagery while the others are turtle graphics.

I find myself endlessly fascinated by what people like, how they think, and how they work. Sometimes, I like to reflect on how and why I do what I do, and on what I may do next.

Like me, many of you will be interested in how these images were made. Here are some thoughts about technique, taste, and the like.
